Progress on meeting Healthy Alaskans 2030 targets is shown on annual scorecards; one for all Alaskan people and one scorecard for Alaska Native people. The scorecards are a valuable tool to show where the state is making progress and where improvements are needed at a specific point in time as well as longer term trends over time.
To set the baseline for the Healthy Alaskans 2030 objectives, the Healthy Alaskans Data Team used the most current data released for each of the measures, which came from surveys, program reporting, and vital records which are about three years old.
